Mr. St. Pierre was certified in Divorce and Family Mediation in 2009.  This appointment was approved by the Association for Conflict Resolution by the Academy of Family Mediators.

Mr. St. Pierre was awarded Lead Counsel in the legal discipline of family law by the Legal Counsel Review Board in January and June 2013, June 2014 and June 2015.

In 2015 Mr. St. Pierre was named one of the top100 Attorneys in his practice area of Family Law by The National Advocates Top 100.  This elite group of attorneys exemplify superior qualifications in the areas of leadership, reputation, influence and importance in the area of Family Law.

  Mr. St.Pierre is a skillfully trained Facilitator with over 35 years of legal experience. He concentrates  in handling Family Law issues involving  divorce, child custody, maintenance, parenting time, modification agreements. Mr. St.Pierre understands the complexities associated with the trauma of divorce and the need for a common sense approach to reach resolution. He will work hard to help you resolve your issues but if a joint resolution isn’t possible, Mr. St. Pierre will fiercely litigate your case to protect your interests and the interests of your children.  

 Mr. St. Pierre  has often been appointed Guardian ad litem by the Cook County Probate Judges to represent minor children, the elderly, and disabled persons many times, due to his compassion and empathy as well as his ability to give sound advice to both parents.

 Mr. St. Pierre was born and raised in Southern Illinois. The experiences he had growing up, taught him the value of hard work and determination.  he put himself through college at Southern Illinois as  well as Law School.   

Mr. St. Pierre has strived throughout his legal career to strenuously advocate for his clients.  He focuses on maintaining the best relationship for a parent with their children.  He emphasizes expediency, to minimize the financial hardships divorce has on the family. His 35 years of experience in family law has helped him to grow into a strong, skilled, confidant, and compassionate advocate for his clients and their children.

 Mr. St. Pierre makes it a point to keep his clients focused on their children and how their decisions and actions throughout the course of their case will impact their children. Whenever possible, it is his goal to encourage  his clients towards a resolution outside the courtroom.  However, when attempts at out of court settlements fail, Duane will aggressively litigate for the rights of his clients.  

Mr. St. Pierre has extensive experience in the enforcement of judgments as well as  negotiating favorable settlements, and a proven track record in trying and obtaining successful results for his clients in court.
